Hello everybody preferably theme makers. I have a problem with my theme. All my modifications I have made to the FW files have been fine. And work with no problems when I flash the files directly to flash0. And have been working in CTF file. But as soon as I add my edited system_plugin.rco (edited to add new XMB sounds) to the CTF file the theme dosen't work and locks up the PSP right after the bootwave. Now keep in mind all the same files work just fine flashed directly to flash0 and also CTF works just fine up until I add the system_plugin.rco file to the CTF it dosen't work

Now what I'm wondering is what am I doing wrong? and can anybody help me with this problem please?

i have also included my theme files extracted i have only edited these files (system_plugin.rco, topmenu_icon.rco, Opening_plugin.rco, opening_plugin.prx, and ltn0.pgf) but i have included all the theme files in the link

Please and thank you and all the best

Flashing Things to the Flash0 is Kinda Risky aint it?
Make sure it's not compressed. I think cxmb has problems with compressed rco's.

Where did you get the rco's from? You can find both decrypted and decompressed prx/rco in the power tools thread. Ctftool also has an option to decompress rco.

he has a fully hackable 2000
Your theme is not a fully .ctf theme, it's mainly a .ptf one.

Make a fresh .ptf file and port the icons/ sub-icons that the .ptf has
to the topmenu_icon.

Maybe that'll help. ;)
Ya i should try that but what I'm thinking is my theme might be useing to much resources and adding them to a CTF theme makes it use even more cause you also have to turn on the plugin and its being loaded in to ram where it dosen't do that flashing them directly to flash0 dosen't use as much ram and stuff as CXMB does that's just one guess i have as to why its doing that

also i have used completely untouched 5.00 RCO's and PRX's to start with I'm going to try redoing it all with 6.37 files and do what junkie recommended by taking the icons out of the PTF file and putting them all in to the top menu icon file

now i just got to figure out how to get the icons out of the dat files /PTF file
