Shame my PS3 is dead and I've already used 3 phoenix downs on it. Looks like a reasonable update.....though I'm suprised Sony have decided to update the browser. It'd probably go out of date as soon as the day passes though :/

don't see mkv happening, though possibly PS2 support, since homebrew devs have released a dongle that adds it, and a CFW maker claims to have reverse engineered it, sony might have given up that battle

Isn't .mkv vids areday supported in the ps3? I dunno but i watched 2012 movie in .mkv format long ago.

If you've realized, the two things that Sony will never bring back to PS3s are PS2 emulation and the gameboot.

Yeah, this is probably fake.  It sounds too good to be true

All of those new features would be great, especially backwards compatibility with PS2 games, and the new web browser.  I thought the PS3 already supported .MKV files.  Unless the subtitles don't work

Also, I had to update to 3.66 a couple of minutes ago, just to sign into PSN :/
