But it should be :/

Do people even use it really?

If anything it's being more relied upon in the Tablet sector as apps and site gear content towards them using the HTML5/CSS3 combo - neither of which have been finalised.

With the iPad 2, Android tablets and the Playbook (lol) the push for its usage is growing fast, and in some cases (Google, for example) makers of web applications want to rely upon these technologies and Zinga is right in saying it shouldn't be used as it hasn't been finalized but the demand for richer web-based applications is growing very quick, and HTML5/CSS3's finalization still hasn't come about.

Reminds me if Wi-Fi N really - the hardware for the standard was being manufactured before the standard (802.11n) was even finalized. Too slow to keep up with consumer demand.
lol if you updated to firefox 4 from the beta like i did it prompts you to update to firefox 5

been on the 5 beta almost a month now lol

od news im on like revision 7 now
Interesting
Wee only just got Firefox 4 a few months ago, I can't be bothered trying a new beta just yet.  I'll wait till at least RC before trying.
lol Mozilla is taking Chromium's way of numbering versions, which is just plain silly if you ask me.

Chromium doesn't advertise new versions like Mozilla is, so no one even really notices new version numbers, but Mozilla seems to be milking it. >.>

Used in some places - have seen some people use the <canvas> element primarily.
HTML5 pushed by Apple because they refuse to support Flash.

I'd actually prefer it being advertised, at least more than Chrome does it (dunno about Chromium).  It's a pain to go to the website to download a new version, yet not know if it is indeed a newer version, or what changes have been made.
But people will soon ignore the constant version update from Firefox anyway, if it's much of a bother.
Final is now out.
Changes:
Quote:- Added support for CSS animations
- The Do-Not-Track header preference has been moved to increase discoverability
- Tuned HTTP idle connection logic for increased performance
- Improved canvas, JavaScript, memory, and networking performance
- Improved standards support for HTML5, XHR, MathML, SMIL, and canvas
- Improved spell checking for some locales
- Improved desktop environment integration for Linux users
- WebGL content can no longer load cross-domain textures
- Background tabs have setTimeout and setInterval clamped to 1000ms to improve performance
- Fixed several stability issues
- Fixed several security issues

I think this quicker cycle might have a bit of a detrimental effect on plugins...
Otherwise, really mostly *tweaks* from my point of view.  I probably won't bother upgrading any time soon.
Hmmm.... that was quick...
im using it right now. it looks just like 4
