so maybe I didn't see the whole thing or something
but from what I saw imo
it wasn't that great... it was interesting and decent but certainly not the best thing I've seen
even Kara no kyoukai was better IMO
It didn't live up to all the internet/figure hype I expected it would live up too
It was average
And kinda dull at parts
But good seeing as it only came from a song
I've watched Black Rock Shooter, and I wasn't really impressed either. It was interesting, nonetheless.

I saw it. nice visuals and music. Overall it was good, not amazing but not terrible either.

Seemed average to me.
From the way I view things, it seems that stories which do some mindfudge (ie unanswered weirdness that seems to make some vague sense, odd symbolism which might mean something, or details purposely left out to the viewer) often get some popularity, as people seem to feel that these add a lot of depth to the story.
