and is it just me or is it that ever since dark_alex gained some popularity with m33 everyone thinks they need to impose on the hacking scene to try and be the next internet superhero. what is there to gain from hacking the ps3? sure it was nice having an all in one portable console with the psp but what use would it be on anything else.

i think anything with the name "PlayStation" will be incessantly hacked now because of PSP ^^"
Even though wasn't it because of a bug in 1.50 firmware that allowed hacking? It had code from the off that allowed unsigned code to be run, and was released by Sony by accident.
