Endless Paradigm

Hello everyone. Im new to the whole psp scene right now. Ive spent my time today searching for awnsers on how to obtain this theme http://endlessparadigm.com/forum/showthr...?tid=26378 which was made very well. Its practically amazing in my opinion because I am a big fan of the anime.

Basically were I think I currently stand is I have:
PsP 3000 CFW 6.37

It looks like in order to get the best of the theme I linked I need:
FW: 6.39?

If anyone could give me some awnsers on how to obtain this or point me in the correct direction I would be much obliged.

Just UPDATE to Version 6.39 and then install CFW 6.39 PRO-B6.

Here is a Tutorial I made showing you how to install CFW 6.39 PRO-B6.

To know what is your PSP Model and System you have, use this APP---» PSP Module Checker v1.0

Download the APP and extract it, then put the "PSP Module Checker v1.0" folder inside the "PSP/GAME" folder on you Memory Stick.

Just follow these simple steps and you will be unleashing the power of your PSP to the MAX. There are two tutorials, but both are
related with your PSP. The first tutorial is Computer/PSP, which is about installing CFW 6.39 PRO-B6 on your PSP. The second tutorial is
the Game Installation for those of you who don't know how to put free full Games on your PSP.

Lets get starter.

First will be the Computer/PSP tutorial.

1. First of all you need to download the files you will be needing, which are the following....
- WinRAR 64-bit or WinRAR 32-bit (To Extract Files)
+ Note: There are two different WinRAR. Check if your Computer is a 64-bit or a 32-bit. If you have a 64-bit you will download WinRAR 64-bit,
but if you have a 32-bit, you will download WinRAR 32-bit.

- CFW 6.39 PRO-B6

2. Now that you have the files downloaded you will install WinRAR.
+ Note: If you have already WinRAR install on your Computer, Skip to Step 3.

3. Now connect your PSP to the Computer using a USB Cable. Then got to the "CFW 6.39 PRO-B6" file you downloaded and extract it using
"WinRAR". To extract a file just "Right-Click" on top of the file you want to extract, and then choose the option "Extract Here".

4. After you have extracted the "CFW 6.39 PRO-B6" file you will get two folders...
- PROUPDATE
- FastRecovery
Now I want you to "Copy and Paste" the "PROUPDATE" folder into the "PSP/GAME" folder. Then do the same with the "FastRecovery" folder,
which is "Copy and Paste" --» "PSP/GAME" folder.

5. Now I want you to disconnect your PSP from your Computer.

Congratulation!!! you have install Custom Firmware 6.39 PRO-B6 (A.K.A. CFW 6.39 PRO-B6) on you PSP System.

no problem, as long as you haven't bricked by your psp by downgrading to 6.20
it would make me feel guilty

So after reading the guide and going through it, ive came across only one problem... that being the 6.39 update is only usable when uppgrading from 3 different CFW's not including 6.37.
Im wondering if I could down grade, then upgrade? Just trying to figure it all out so I don't brick my psp

yours is OFW for sure (since there's no CFW 6.37 for psp 3000)
and there wouldn't be any problem to install OFW 6.39 from OFW 6.37

after installed OFW 6.39, you can install either 6.39 ME-4 or 6.39 PRO-B6, it's your choice
you can find them on PSP news section

and for the theme you'd need a plugin called CXMB, get it on the news section too

And the Teacher award for 2011 goes too.....
