right click on the image => CTFtool menu => Convert "XXX.bmp" to GIM
import the recently converted image

another way, you can dump the RCO, it will appear as a folder with some folders inside
rename the converted image to one that u wanted to replace with, overwrite it
right click on the folder and choose "pack to RCO with RCOmage"
Thanks eznoir but now all that's showing up is a white rectangle where the edited image should be i attached the GIM files I'm trying to add

I have noticed one thing though when i extract the image from the RCO file the image dosen't have a background color or any background at all only the text and the little MOD pic on the side but when i edit it and goto save it i always end up with a background color being white or black
White box on the PSP?  That's usually a sign of running out of resources.

The GIM you attached is using 32-bit colour.  Also, it doesn't have any transparency (so solid black background).
If you're replacing it as a BMP in RCO Editor, by default (if memory serves me right), it assumes the first pixel is the transparent colour.
thxs everybody got it all figured 32 bit images don't work at all even though when adding a BMP to it says it can eather be 32 bit, 8 bit, or 4 bit

it can, but 32 bit takes too much resource especially when you put a big image (like it can read, but can't remember)
and yeah,, 295 x 67 px is SOOO big
so it only remembers its size and turns out as white box with the same size
ya kinda thought so but really wasen't sure well here is the completed theme conversion i have been working on changed that one pic and made the system reboot button work again

http://www.mediafire.com/?yzp93q7dyl74ek5

just i have been trying to add the firewave to the theme it works when i flash the needed rco files directly to flash0 they work but if i add the same files to the theme they don't work just shows up as the normal wave anybody know why that would be

heres the firewave files I'm talking about  http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6SYBC9BE
32-bit can be used as an intermediary format - just need to convert to 8-bit at the end.
oh poo poo to the people that downloaded my previous conversion forgot the update/reboot plugin heres a fixed link
