trademark91 Wrote: [ -> ]I look at the recent posts, and everything that gets posted lately just seems much more mundane than normal. maybe its just part of me growing up, maybe its the site, but whatever the reason, EP doesn't have its draw for me lately. before, id come on and see all kinds of new posts from folks i felt as close as family to. wee would be discussing interesting topics that drew my attention. discussion on politics, technology, art, music, design, events, internet stuff, etc. wee talked about stuff openly and honestly with our internet family.

over the last 4 months or so, however, the site has undergone a change. i don't know if its been felt by everyone, but EP has lost its close-knit ness. i come on now and all i see are posts by people i don't recognize about junk, spambots, and trolls.

I kinda agree with you on this too and that's why I don't come around much either. EP has really been like a true family to me too, cause this is probably one of the few places that there are people like myself. It feels bad to see a great member of this family leaving. Though wee never got to know each other so well cause probably because I'm still kinda noob here compared to the others but you have been one of the great ones even posting on my personal threads and also with you going there probably will also be no more desktop competitions Whyowhy
Though I hope you don't leave and at least come around every once in awhile But I wish you luck wherever you go Madwin
«-- ITT: Trademark91 will be back and there is no need for any actual worries.

That is all that was implied.

Anyone who makes an I'm leaving thread usually doesn't leave because they are conscious of it and thinking about it. Everyone says they will do it, but it rarely ever happens. The people who truly leave are the ones who slowly forget about the site, and eventually just stop going to it... not the people who make giant, I quit threads...

Sigh
I'm gonna miss you. Your goodbye to me made me feel like I was arrogant when wee first met but it made me happy too. You influenced me to do a lot and wee've shared many personal times together. Hell you even offered to let me live with you if I could make it there. I do agree that the place has become a bit more forum-like instead of a family with the sudden boom of the PSP scene, though.

Agreed.  I tried it once, but as you can see I'm still here.  After all, you can't escape the Void.
