According to Electronic Gaming Monthly, Sony is planning a new PS2 package containing a motion sensitive controller which it will market as a Wii alternative. At just $100 US, this older machine, but with comparable graphics, would be less than half the price of Nintendo's new flagship console.
This would be a good deal, although its unlikely that Sony will actually be making any profit off it if its only $100. As with the PSP, it seems as though Sony likes to follow Nintendo's successes rather than perfect its own (PS3...).
