as do i. i have heard the whole conspiracy theory about the 9/11 attacks, and imo, its bullchocolate. i watched loose change, ive read a large chunk of the information available, and i have come to the conclusion that the theory does not have much truth behind it, and is based mainly on circumstantial evidence. don't sit here and spit spoon that you don't know about and then accuse people of being closed-minded just because they don't instantly believe whatever bullchocolate theory you decided is going to be the absolute truth in all situations. if anything, you're being closed minded towards the official story because you have your head so far up the conspiracy theorists asses. if you have a real argument, then by all means, please present it. if not, then shut the hell up because wee don't want to hear it. a lot of folks lost people who were very close to them in those attacks, and in other terror attacks worldwide (perpetrated/inspired by al-quaeda and its followers in the following several years) and it is insulting and disrespectful of you to sit here talk about stuff that you know nothing more about than having watched a few documentaries and read an article or two. im sorry i forgot that every 14 year old was the irrefutable source of knowledge about the FBI and CIA's actions against a global threat over 10 years.
/thread
Where in my thread did I say that this is "proof" that 911 was an inside job....?? this was just an interesting article to read. I don't come up with my conclusion just because conspiracy theorists think that, I look for the facts in articles and different theories. And just because Obama tells you something doesn't make it true.

I only have this to say:
If Osama Bin Laden is dead, then that is good news, because he killed thousands of people (including innocent women and children) because they opposed his ideals.

Oh goodness...
No offense to either side, but it's apparent that any counter-arguments will be nullified based on the posts in this thread, I'm sorry to say this but you guys seem totally incompatible.
Also, from what i pull from what bsanehi is trying to say that fostering knowledge and considering conspiracy theories is a good way in determining whether something is true or not.
Do wee know everything? Nope. That's why some of us try to consider and not willfully follow something someone tells us, I think you've done the same as well (trademark). Maybe none of these conspiracy theories are true, maybe you are totally right and America is the savior of the day; that doesn't rule out the fact that you came to that conclusion through doubting it in the first place.
So, calm down everybody and allow each other to foster their drive for the truth; what was that thing called again? Free speech? Then stop being hypocritical and allow the each other to say what he wants to say, if you have a counter argument, then you don't need to add tacky insults to make your point look better or it turns into a shit fest and wee get absolutely nowhere, with everyone foaming at the mouth at eachother.
P.S. Also guys, i KNOW this is the internet and you should "never be serious" with it, but i consider EP as a closed circle of people. It'd be a lot nicer with everyone getting along without having everyone going at each other and insulting each other, maybe it doesn't affect anyone at all, but it shouldn't be the way a tight community communicates.

Me, personally... I'm not angry. I just don't understand why someone would support someone who killed thousands of innocent people.
Also, I follow no one. Not god, government, or man.

That's exactly what some people are trying to determine here now is it? Do you think anyone actually supports someone who kills thousands of people?
Ones who are rational humans, by the way. Forgot to add that... :P

People supported Hitler and he killed millions of people, and people still support him and his ideals.
Edit: I'm guessing rational humans don't support Osama.

So did the Allies by firebombing Germany and America by nuking japan, with justifications for both; people just hate Hitler because from what wee have determined from history was that Hitler was the reason for the initiative for war. Also, what if Hitler won world war II, would wee be thinking he's still a bad guy? Who knows.
Point being, people look for the cause of human death and NOT paint it all on one man; that's why wee debate over the nukes and firebombings even at the time of Hitler.

Are you talking about the media Osama? Then no. Are you talking about the real Osama? I wouldn't know what to believe because i have never met the man.

BURP!

I wouldn't know what to believe either... I can only go by what is said in the media. So I can only assume Osama is evil.
