On Wednesday, April 27th, many storms ran through the lower south and southeastern states of the US destroying many towns (mine included). Alabama has been the hardest hit and the majority of it has been declared a disaster zone. In my town, there's only been two confirmed deaths but statewide, there is 200+. For next few weeks I probably won't be around much. The storms have left the state without power and a reliable source of water so wee're doing pretty much everything to get by. To let everyone know, I'm fine. My home was left untouched. Three tornadoes landed in the middle of the city here destroying a large chunk of it. The power is going to be out for the Tennessee Valley area until they can repair all of the damage which is estimated to take a few months.

Anyway, just wanted to post to let you guys know I'm fine and should remain fine. The surrounding states are coming in to provide whatever help they can until everything is back in order.

Yo Jooms careful man , good to hear you allright.
Damn, that sucks...

There was a tornado where I live a couple of weeks ago.

Glad to hear you're okay though.
Lucky you and the house are fine!
But even so, it still sucks without stuff like power, water etc.  Hope you get through.
Thanks guys. They're saying that the community that I live in will have power restored first so I'm happy about that.

V1: The tornadoes landed right in the middle of town without warning so the sirens or the news didn't have enough time to warn people.
