Now here is a great mod. I happened to find this @JB scene.

You can unlock all Mortal Kombat klassic characters using this little mod.
Instructions:
- Download this file: http://www.fileserve.com/file/VRWK6xr
- Enter this password for the file: Scorpion2k7
- Using Comgenie, or OpenPS3FTP with FileZilla, copy the PS3TOC.TXT into the USRDIR\ directory found in the Mortal Kombat game folder–overwriting the original file, stored on the PS3′s internal hard drive. (e.g. hdd0\PS3_GAME\USRDIR)
- And again… using Comgenie, or OpenPS3FTP with FileZilla, copy the COALESCED.INI into the USRDIR\CONFIG\ directory found in the Mortal Kombat game folder–overwriting the original file, stored on the PS3′s internal hard drive. (e.g. hdd0\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\CONFIG\)
- Restart your PS3. Done

1 Scorpion Classic Mk1
2 SubZero Classic Mk1
3 Reptile Classic Mk1
4 Ermac Classic Mk1
5 Jade Classic Mk3
6 Kitana Classic Mk3
7 Mileena Classic Mk3
* Just to clarify: This download does not contain any DLC !! The DLC is already on the disc ! It just contains a couple of small files that tell the PS3 to allow you to use it ;)
* I have also attached the file here to the site (no password)
Now go install the mod, use your fav MK classic characters, and - FINISH HIM!
