So I used to call them computers because well, I was playing computer games and I thought the PC was literally playing against me. Then I got my first console and I said the console (or TV) was playing against me but I grew with the term computer then I played a video game where they were called computers and being really young, I can't remember how I reacted. Nowadays I just call them A.I.

Awesome, Sparker calls ACOs, AIs.
I use AI and "computer" interchangably, since AI is really just the output of a computer. I see some games refer to them as CPUs as well.
i call it the computer player. bump.
I've always called it computer because the N64 called them "CPUs".
i call them computer/ bots / Ai / NPC(?) ... depending on the game
but usually its "computer" :)
