Seems like all the browsers, IE9 included, are trying to minimize the default interface.  Personally, at least Firefox allows reverting to the old one.  I can minimize the interface already myself without the developers doing it for me >_>

If you keep it open for a long time, simply restarting Firefox can free up a lot of memory.  As said, I generally find it taking up lots of RAM after leaving it open for a while (like 1GB+).  I do typically have 30 tabs open though.
firefox 4 allowed me to mimise my interface even more xD

i got a nifty addon too to show live tab thumbnails
I generally have two rows of bars - the menu bar, which also has the address/search textboxes next to the menus (use the Menu Edit plugin to remove menus you don't use), and the tab bar underneath.

this is all i have

i also found out that the plugin for tab previews actually lets you interact with that tab through the thumbnail version O_o it's so cool
My plugins don't work. If
Only the fireFTP. If
this is really fast in browsing.

this is trippy....

only out by about 2 seconds
i reverse my stance with Firefox 4 browser, it takes more faster than the older version (and same as fast now as Chrome), I've only restarted my Laptop then kaboom the browser browse with speed!, but most older plugins don't work anymore so better install newer version of the plugins
