well think about it, if its for ps plus only, then sony wouldnt have to set up a 3g billing program, and just include 3g to the ps plus pricing... am i makin sense?

sony don't own a mobile network in the world

you will buy a SIM card with an internet plan from a network you choose and use it to play online.

Amazon Kindles have free international 3G (Whispernet) - I don't see why the NGP can't (if just for online play as PSN downloads would be too bandwidth costly).

If I get it, I'd get the wireless only one since I can wirelessly tether my phone.

He means to use 3G on the phone, thus "wirelessly" connecting to the internet.

I don't have a smart phone, so I might consider the 3G version. But I'd rather have an Android phone. :3
