No it doesn't, but you can use Aloader or OpenIdea ISO Loader to load them

edit: Just uninstalled the patch and PSX games work fine in HEN mode :/

Apparently not, Sony changed something between 6.20 and 6.35 so a permanent patch doesn't look likely, that's what they're saying over at wololo.net/talk anyway.
