what's the difference between r677 and beta 3?
on another forum i read that r677 IS beta 3.
but i believe another post on EP stating the release of beta 3...
so is this an updated version of beta 3 or what? o.O

It's the latest svn revision. When a svn revision is ready to be released it gets a version number.
With DaedalusX64 they like to call it Beta with a number.
But the devs are continuously working with the files, every change that's committed gets a version number, the latest is svn r677 (date 2011-03-05).
The latest Beta (Beta 3) was released 25 February 2011.
So in short svn r677 is NOT the same as Beta 3.

anyways so the svn is like the testing releases of daedalus, hence it is a more recent release.
