No. The blue screen is the equivalent of the "Restore Default Settings" feature from System Settings. It's because the files from flash1 (where most of the settings are stored, including the wallpaper) simply don't match the current version. Meaning the flash0 install probably doesn't point to flash1 where the settings are stored, or they're encrypted for that particular firmware (it's why you see newer tags in PSAR Dumper when a newer firmware is out).

Augusta Wrote: [ -> ]6.20 TN-D will be released in a matter of days/weeks. What's the point of downgrading to 5.03?

5.00 M33-6 has the best compatibility with homebrew and plugins and 5.03 MHU is basically 5.00 M33-6 ported to "Pandora-proof" PSPs. So why 5.03 ? Because of:

1. Maximum compatibility with homebrew and plugins.
2. POPSLoader - for a very high compatibility with PSX games, else you're stuck with the POPS version it came with.
3. Speed up MS access - incredibly useful feature if you have a fake memory stick or simply want to squeeze those extra 20 ms of performance out of your PSP (sometimes more, depends on the game).

IMO these features trump the comic book store and SensMe channels (which is available as a separate homebrew, mind you). Comic books are basically RAR or ZIP archives (.cbr and .cbz) full of JPG and sometimes PNG images. Opening them with PSP Filer is good enough for me.

PS: And they're not available for 5.03 GEN let alone 6.20 TN.
foxim8ly Wrote: [ -> ]i just watched the video fr. the source site, successfully downgraded the 6.35 3k to 6.20,

im just wondering why does the blue screen of death appears after the updating and restart method.

what does this means?

is there any bad effects on it? bsides the downgrading was successful

Since it's because of that new Qriocity thing from 6.35, the older firmware doesn't recognize that feature. So the last thing you could do is to press O

About your downgrade question, i totally forgot that liquidzigong posted a few days ago he was successful in downgrading 6.35 to 5.00 Flatterd
But that was about it, he didn't mentioned which model(s) he used it on and if it's gonna be released as an app...
Thanks for replies, just one more thing,

will this work on any psp model?( mobo)

whther 3g/4g on psp 3k?

any region? i mean when you restore the default settings it was initially set to its own language...

3k god ofwar edition? gran turismo edition? etc......
@ foxim: it does work on 3000 models, I downgraded my ratchet and clank psp from 6.35 to 6.20. From there you can downgrade to 5.03 using the version.txt downgrading method available in TN hen.
that's good , but i want to know if all boards model are supported, cause i have red other forums complaining on a blackscreen and shutdown issues, that maybe on their board such as 4g or something
The Gran Turismo and God of War GOS bundles use 04g modules and they're presumed to brick your PSP if you downgrade bellow 5.70.
