I know it might be fake but does it mean its in bad condition?
how did it go down?
did you know it was?
tell me your story bro.
There used to be a few shops specialized in anime in a certain district near by where I used to live and me and my sister bought some figures there. Some of these were supposed to be collect separately so when wee compared our genuine ones bought in Japan from the one from those weird shops. It was obvious from there. For ones where I had nothing to compare with, some you could just look at and see they're poorly sculpted and painted. Interchangeable parts need to be forced on and off quite hard and so one.

Anyway, a lot of those shops closed down, I can imagine why. There's only one shop there left any it usually sell overly expensive stuff or stuff I'm not interested in. It's a shame because there was a lot of genuine quality goods sold in those shops too.

As long as your happy with it. :3~
It's fine saying "I don't care so long as it's Miku" but you're not doing any favours for her.

Keep in mind that when you buy a knockoff, the manufacturers of said knockoff make the money. This doesn't help anyone who was involved in the design, manufacture or brand of the figure you bought. Which I feel is an important point.

I don't want to dampen your spirit - I've bought a few knockoff DVDs well aware that they were unlikely to be real since there were very limited pressings - I'll still seek the originals though.

I'm sure you'll love your figure, but do keep an eye on the genuine products and when you see one you really want - pre-order and save up, cause they do tend to be expensive.
Well, you only buy these things for looks (and maybe so they don't break too easily).  If you can't tell the difference then go for the fakes.

@Senseito7: whilst I agree, another angle to look at it from is that these knock-offs only exist because original figures sell at absurdly inflated prices.  After all, these knock-offs have to be designed to a point (perhaps less effort than the original, but someone still has to come up with a process to make them) as well as manufactured - so they largely have similar costs to create, but one sells significantly cheaper.
