I tried the MhuFreeStore application under 6.35 PRO and my PSP's screen blacked out. It was still on though! So I turned it off, and tried to put it on again (held the power button for full shutdown) and it gave me the same black screen, only the led indicator for power is still working... Now even the power button doesn't work anymore and if I remove the battery and put it back in (even after 30 secs) it just automaticly starts up on the damn black screen again... Luckily I've made my battery pandora earlier today with the Hellcat Recovery Flasher v1.65 . I also backed up my NAND with it and my flash memory... But the only thing is that I don't know how to use it... Is there someone willing to help me please :'(
I actually think (after alot of testing) that the "pandora battery" that the new Recovery flasher makes, prevents your PSP from booting! That's why it shut down the first time but not the second time, it was just frozen by the Pandora battery! I tried turning it on with the power cable and without the battery in it and it booted perfectly, however when I booted again with the battery inside it froze ;)
Soooooooooooooooooooooo it's all good?
Yeah, that's basically what happens with a Pandora's Battery. You can use it to install CFW, but you can't actually use it as a regular battery, meaning it's not going to boot up if you try to use it as a regular battery. My advice would be to get yourself a spare battery and use one for Pandora stuff and the other for running your PSP
Nope, I shifted it back to a normal battery with the recovery flasher but the battery is seriously f****, it still doesn't boot... Is there any way to make it work again?
I dun understand , you unbricked it ?
and i supose you have psp1000 from what i read in the shoutbox...
Use only your DC cable on , without any battery on , this way you can boot the PSP.
And then try to turn your battery back to normal with any HomeBrew you can use.
That's what i can think of , if the battery is messed i dun know
When you converted the battery...did you backup the eeprom? if you don't have the eeprom, you have to fake it....I remember doing it once and it worked fine, can't remember what psp app I worked
Apparently when you shift it back to normal with the recovery flasher you should pull the power supply out ;)
Now everything is ok :) thanks for the help everyone ;)
No, the reason it won't turn on is because the psp boots to the memory stick if a pandora battery is inserted, all you have to do is create a magic memory stick and then install the ipl loader from dark_alex's time machine app and then your psp will boot fine with a pandora battery in as long as that memory stick is still inserted

Except you can, and have been able to for years. With DCv8, you can assign a button to boot the Pandora menu, so it only boots into the menu if you hold that button, otherwise it boots normally.
