The exploit only works with newer hardware I guess. The signing of homebrew will work on any PSP, but exploits will not.

I've read somewhere if you disable "UMD Cache" from the system settings that it should work, this worked on a PSP3000.
However I'm not sure if this would work for the PSP1000 models!

EDIT: This did not work for my PSP1000 model, i  suggest that hackeble psp1000's and 2000's stay on 5.50GEN or other CFW
