Endless Paradigm

Well i went out and got one, and i figured, why not get the best one there, seeing as i hadva bit of extra money.

So i did, i went with the seagate xt, a 500gb hybrid ssd/hdd 7200rpm drive.

And i have decided to do a fresh install of slackware instead of using my backup, so it should all work out nicely ;)

for shame, its not a terabyte

Im going for speed, not space, they don't make these in terabytes, i already have a 2tb external... Need i go on?

I think I might pick up one of those when I can.

wow not bad at all. That's like twice what I paid for my 7200RPM 320GB, but it's not a SSD hybrid.

I need to get me one of those.

I've somewhat wondered on the efficiency of the cache though.  See how well it goes for you.
