I already feel dumb for asking.. Just help me please

I have 5.50 Prometheus and I installed the PSNLove plugin today.. I registered for the first time on PSN as a Jap member.. I notice an error pops up when I click on certain links but I usually still get to the page I want... Anyways, I downloaded a couple freebies. And I get a simple error "The Game cannot be Started."

Now I've seen someone on here posting patched Jap demos.. So i suppose they need some mod before they can be played.. Or am I missing something? I must be, cause I figured why be able to access PSN without being able to play the downloads...

Yeah those demos are patched so you must patch yours too.

well I've been researching practically all day and night.. I've tried some patchers that are outdated :[ and now im starting to think it's time to fudge this

all i know is NPD and psdp don't work :{

yea demos in general don't like to work on custom firmware man. Also psn lover has been blocked and patched many times by sony already. Those errors you are getting a failure to obtain the licence key which is essential for running anything that comes from the PSN store.

thanks grey ghost.. i saw someone in your thread made a post about using Media Go or something.. I'm trying that out right now... and.... well it looks it at least gets the license key.. but the eboot doesn't work yet still... im clueless how to patch the motha-ucka so it looks like I'll wait longer.. why do I even want to do this? beats the hell out of me.. :xD

well you could try a 6.20-m33 plugin... just be sure to use sepulka, or disable it for other games cause it pretty much has 0 compatability for homebrew and such
