I'm using a block size of 512. That way, a good sector won't get ignored with a bad one. Sure does take a while, though.

In the time it's taking you do to that, my computer probably would've caught on fire.

Haha maybe. It actually goes pretty fastnwith the low blocksize, its just slow now because its at the bad section of the disk.
