Downgrading Using 6.20 TN-B Hen



Warning!
Remember that all the firmwares are not supported by all models of PSP!
So do not try to install:
Below the 3.60 firmware on a PSP Slim (2000)
A firmware below 4.20 for the PSP 3000
Below the 5.70 firmware on a PSP GO

What you'll need to downgrade to firmware 5.03:

PSP (all models) equipped with firmware 6.20
Official firmware 6.20 (PSP GO)
Official firmware 6.20 (PSP non-GO)
The Half Byte Loader
The demo for Patapon 2
The modified backup of that demo
The NF-B 6.20
The application Psar New Dumper with firmware 5.00 eboot
The firmware 5.03

If you want to downgrade to another firmware:

PSP (all models) equipped with firmware 6.20
Official firmware 6.20 (PSP GO)
Official firmware 6.20 (PSP non-GO)
The Half Byte Loader
The demo for Patapon 2
The modified backup of that demo
The NF-B 6.20
Applying New Psar Dumper eboot with a firmware lower than that to which you want to downgrade (the eboot should be placed at the root of the Memory Stick and must be named EBOOT.PBP)

Tutorial

* Go to Game> Memory Stick and select New Psar Dumper



* The main menu of the application appear. Press Square



* Several lines appear on the screen and show that the decryption has begun. Wait a few minutes

* Once finished, you return automatically to the XMB

* Pass your PSP in "USB mode" with the option "USB Connection"




* You will notice a new folder named F0 , made its appearance



Go to that folder. Then open the folder vsh and finally the file etc. . You'll find a file named v ersion.txt . Copy it (Right Click> Copy)



* Go back to the root of your Memory Stick

* Go to the folder seplugins (create it if it does not exist) and paste the file version.txt (right click> Paste)

* Quit the "USB mode" on your PSP

* Press to display the TN VSH Menu

* A line Fake Index.dat , press Enabled appears



* Select Restart VSH to validate changes

* Now that your information is biased , go to Game> Memory Stick to start the update 5.03



* Once the update is complete, you will need to restart your console. A blue message will appear on the screen, press

* It'll just enjoy the Custom Firmware 5.03 GEN-C for HEN

I've heard people bricking their 3ks while trying to downgrade?

@Ninja88 probably because they're trying to downgrade their psp 3000 lower than 4.20.

can you downgrade a 6.35 of or 6.10 for a psp2000?

it's working the problem is I can't update because of my battery is below 75% xD

Just kinda curious, how do I go from 6.20TN-B > 5.03 ChickHEN > 5.50GEN-D/3?

Doesn't work on the GO, you might end up with a brick.
