Clearly, i7s aren't really faster than C2Qs.
They're only faster when you benchmark the two, but when you're not benchmarking, i7s go back to their usual lazy state.

This game is awesome, for the reason that it was made by the people who make Burnout. And wee all know how amazing their games are.
There is also a lot of good PC games which are blatantly console ports; unbindable controls, references to a green A button, and support for only xbox controllers. I wish it was not so, Super Meat Boy. I WISH IT WERE NOT SO!

You can overclock on stock just fine. Just don't don't try to hit very high numbers.
Not worth it buying a custom cooler just to get like 0.4 more GHz, which you won't even be able to notice, and also eats more power (you'll need a much higher vcore to get that last push).

Honestly, I never played it. but my favorite NFS is either NFS Underground 2 or Carbon (why didn't many people like Carbon? :<)
The only NFS game I've played is the really really old NFS Hot Pursuit. The one from more than 10 years ago.

Carbon= worse tracks, more focus on customization than racing, chocolatety "drift" races, far worse soundtrack, less interesting story mode.
