Is there a better program yall think I should use? I love trying out new programs :3

Quite a nice application of it... the current one I mean. Well done.
Though really, apart from Date/Time/Weather the rest is useless and usually stats that are ignored anyway.
The only thing the desktop is particularly useful for is displaying a nice picture.. and maybe a few Icons. Hence why that's the only purpose it serves for me.

I AAARRRRRGGGGHHHH'd at the first one.
The second AAARRRRRGGGGHHHH was much quieter.
(Why not just have a clock WITH the weather? Like magazinelikeTime)

If you're on windows, you could check out samurize: http://www.samurize.com/modules/news/
It's tougher to configure than rainmeter, but its infinitely more configurable.

Both are cluttered.
And you have a wallpaper that is stretched, my eyes are bleeding right now.
