when my internet goes down on my pc i connect with my phone xD
then if that's being slow i Play PSP or PS3,
if i cba to that i play bass
if i cba to that i watch a film
if i cba to do that i read a book

I can't remember how I discovered the internet, or what I used to do on it, but I remember when it used to be dial up and wee would have the choice of internet or house phone as you couldn't use both at the same time, and it cost a bomb to browse the web so my dad didnt let us use it oftern, it took us until 2003 when my parents got divorced for us to get broadband and wee went strait onto virgin internet and haven't left since, as its by far the best in the uk.
I could last without the internet now if I was with my girlfriend as I couldn't care about the internet when I'm with her, but when I'm alone I would go bat spoon crazy lol
oh god i remember way back when. the first computer i ever used was in like 1999. i was 8, and my dad said it was time for us to get a computer. he spend $3000 on an awesome computer, the fastest at the time. it was running windows ME. wee had internet explorer, but wee didnt know it, and wee all used the aol browser wee got from the dial up connection. god was that chocolatety. i think the only thing i used the internet for at first was looking up cheats on the gameboy, usually for pokemon gold/silver (as was the style in those days :p)
when im on the internet nowadays, i usually just try to build my music collection. my goal is to have at least 1tb of music before i turn 20. go on ep, and whatever hacking/modding sites strike my fancy that day. usually its either linux or fallout modding. i don't watch much hershey kisses anymore, as i that doesn't really interest me, and i don't watch flash video, in fact, in backtrack (my main OS) , i don't even have flash player installed. i typically spend 8-14 hours a day on the internet, just doing nothing.
if i didnt have the internet, i probably would read a lot more. i read a lot as it is, really the only thing i enjoy is getting information. so if i didnt have the internet, id just hang out at the library and start reading as many books as i could.
school and after that home,. and hughe telefoon bills with dial-up modem,. wich i could't pay,.
how i love the internet even more now!!
some point in the late 90's only with Free Trial disks from AOL and Compuserve too if I remember correctly.
