So this version can flash Prometheus-3, and this feature is only supported for 5.50 GEN ? What the hell... Prome-3 is already at revision 4 and I'm not sure all the bugs are worked out.
I think I would much rather see a proper GUI in ISO Tool (especially one using libFonts) than having flashing capabilities which could very easily brick a PSP. I still think it's best not to mess with the firmware and patch the games, mainly because decryption methods keep changing. Just look at GoW Ghost of Sparta with Prometheus 0.5 (ie. Prometheus-2).
Bottom line is this isn't a good idea. I know people who selected the Format Memory Stick option from the XMB because they thought it would make the games run faster. I can picture their faces when they thought they bricked the console because nothing would show up anymore.

1.83 is out: http://takka.tfact.net/blog/?p=2104
And as usual, it doesn't come with ME631 (probably due to increased size). You have to copy-paste it to the ".../DATA/prometheus" folder.
