Endless Paradigm

this blog post will be used for documenting my very first perfect grade gundam model kit.
it's a 1/60 Perfect Grade Gundam Astray Red Frame from the Gundam Seed/Destiny universe.
msrp is 18,000 yen.
I'll post my daily progress (4-6 hours per day), expected completion is 25+ hours.
maybe i can encourage someone else here to do gunpla's as well XD

Day 1 Progress: Legs and Waist construction done, took about 6 - 7 hours.

bigger than i expected, lots of areas that can be touch with panel lines. also checked the included dry decals, will take time to stick all of them, some of them are too tiny, maybe i should buy the wet decals instead, I'm more comfortable sticking those.

Day 2 Progress: Body part done. took about 4 hours.
some troublesome parts, but nothing too hard.

YES!!!, i have it pre-ordered from hobbywave, but i got charged right away even though it won't ship till mid january...
10% additional discount for pre-order, 261$ pre-order price + 12$ shipping + 9$ international transaction fee, forgot to pay through paypal instead of direct debit. still cheaper though than getting it directly from japan, JP stores charge 60$+ shipping for a PG -_-

and hopefully the PG 00 Raiser after the holiday season, early 2011, see if i got money left.

after some weeks of not touching it (too lazy), i finally finish the main kit, still need to add some panel lines and stick the decals. not gonna do it anytime soon because I'll start the PG Strike Freedom.
