Since wee can get the iPhone 4 without contract here in germany, I plan to buy one.
T-Mobile lost their exclusive for the iPhone. Vodafone and o2 do also offer the iPhone 4 now.
The only problem with T-Mobile and Vodafone is they only sell the iPhone with contract and netlocked for at least 2 years. While o2 offers the iPhone 4 without contract.

Prices are about 640€ for the 16GB model and 770€ for the 32GB model.
I want to get the 32GB model, 'cause 16GB is not enough for me. Don't ask me, I have a lot of music (about 12GB, converted to 128kbps through iTunes sync option to save storage) on my current iPhone 3G. It depends on my mood which genre i will listen to.
The cool thing with o2 is that you can pay by instalment. (30€ per month, with a deposit of 50€)

So I want to sell my current iPhone 3G (16GB, factory unlocked) but I don't know how much I will get for that retro thingy...
do eeet!
didnt know u were from deutschland :)
you can get good money for your 3g if it is in good condition!  keep in mind 3g can be used to jailbreak playstation 3 and can run Android 2.2...and its non contract so people like it ;)

by the way..iphone4 is HELLA WIN!!!!
ye man i sold my 3G for £140 and got an iPhone 4

3G to iPhone 4 is a worthy upgrade, srsly.

Thanks for the heads up guys. So first I need to find someone who wants to buy my factory unlocked iPhone 3G. I need some budget first since I'm still a lazy student without work D:

In iTunes 9+, tick "High Efficiency" (AAC) and encode at 56Kbps with variable bitrate.
That'll save you over 6GB.

Poo@apple for not supporting add-on cards.
