Endless Paradigm

So I got a iPhone 3G that mother upgraded to 4.1, but I can't jailbreak. limera1n will go into DFU mode but it just stays there, and greenpois0n won't even see it as in DFU mode, can anyone help me? Also tried redsn0w but that failed and so did snowbreeze. Can anyone help me or walk me through the jailbreaking process?

Weird thing is even on 4.01 limera1n still wouldn't work. It would get stuck on "in DFU mode...wait"

From what I've been reading limera1n doesn't work on 3g, you have to use redsn0w 0.9.6. But I wouldn't know where to go from there sorry... :'3

Try the new pwnagetool this sunday,
And cook a custom 4.1 ipsw and restore it from that,
Couldnt be easier,

you need to have itunes on the windows pc running limera1n.  greenpoins0n is not supported for 3g.

best results, plug phone into computer, turn it off while plugged in, then follow the onscreen instructions.  I have broke 3gs, iphone4, ipod 3g and 4g with limera1n and yesterday redone with greenpoins0n

I just jailbroke 5 more devices.  Instead of hold home only at beginning, hold power and home for tge first 2 countdowns, then release power.

iPad on 3.2.2 was tricky and that's how I beat it up :)
