Umm just wanted to ask, I never played any Etrian Odyssey game and the last game I played remotely in this style was Dragon Quest Monsters.... can I play Etrian Odyssey 3?
Or will I get horribly destroyed by the difficulty and miss something since I start with 3?

Uh, I don't know if you should play the first two before the third (you'll probably be told their still good games to play anyway) but I played the first two but I never actually beat them, I am however progressing well in the third one, only cause I like the cless designs much MUCH more in that one :p
Its A-OK to play Etrian Odyssey III without playing the first two. The third is one generally a lot better balanced than the other two, both in difficulty and character abilities. The third one completely brings a completely new set of well... everything so its pretty different experience from the previous two games.
