The equivalent on Microsoft's side would be disabling the dvd drive from being accessible from the xbox...rendering only downloadable games as usable because the dvd firmware can be flashed to read any disk.  :(

where may i acquire such a fantastic usb? :D
So it seems that someone apparently made a hack using the official controller, supposedly to get around this block.
Turns out, it's really just another chip soldered into the official controller, so it doesn't actually bypass this...
