I have this PS3 wave but I don't know how to update it to work on 5.50 without freezing/bricking psp.

It works on 5.00 though...

Thanks for sharing, but that is not the wave in patpat's preview.  
The wave in patpat's preview consists of:

1) Z33's wave model
2) modded with rcoMage to add the PS3 sparkles.


I was going to make this wave myself.  And my plan was indeed to use Z33's wave model, and add the sparkles myself with rcoMage.   patpat has done such a beautiful job with it, that I am sure that I couldn't have done such a great job myself.
