Ever wondered why your 2gb or 1gb memory sticks, don't actually have 2gb or 1gb of free space on them? This is normal. But you can get more by formatting in fat, not fat 32. How do you do this, you ask? Here is a simple guide on how to get some more space on your memory stick:
1. Put all of your PSP files into a folder on your computer. Save them so that after you format, you can put the files back on.
2. Connect your PSP to your computer.
3. Go to My Computer.
4. Right click on Removable Disk.(Drive letter here)
5. Click on format.
6. Under file system, select FAT and not FAT32.
7. Click on start, wait until the formatting is finished, and then put the files back onto your PSP.
You should now have more free space on your memory stick!
This will not necessarily give you a lot more free space, but you might get some. It does depend on what is on your memory stick.
