Trying to find a novel way to continue the over-done "post your..." type threads.
Linux/OSX/BSD/QNX can whistle unless you have something similar to a systray.

Spoiler for icons:
In popup, left to right, downards:
Windows Networking (wish I could get rid of it), Foobar2000, Action Centre (wish I could get rid of it), USB Safely Remove, Comodo Firewall, F.lux

In tray:
Networx, Free Download Manager, Rainlendar

My Work tray. And no, I don't work for Sapporo Daido Printing, it's just my calendar. xD

Err, Top to Bottom:
Looking for Printers (double you tee eff?), Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver, Free Download Manager, Google Desktop
ObjectDock, Blackberry Automatic Update (for my boss' BB ¬_¬), Realtek HD Audio Manager, avast! Antivirus
Windows Update, Norton Ghost, Virtual CloneDrive, Adobe Update
Action Center, Battery: 100%, Network Icon (yes it's stuck xD) and Audio Mixer

i just disabled all the stuff in tray that's not needed
cause when i install stuff i make sure its processes are on manual and it doesn't run on startup unless has to
My Systray, huh? Wee-el, les' see what's going on down by my clock.

From left to right, top to bottom (yay, western reading systems):
Windows Update (Goddamnit, again?), Action Center (Fuck that noise), Synaptics Pointing Device (Important, I suppose), ObjectDock Plus (Muy Bueno), Fraps (Record spoon, I suppose), ESET Smart Security 4 (Bitchin' Antivirus), Battery meter (yay, a meter that actually tells me how long I have left in time, not just %), Wireless (Strong), Sound (Muted, how I like it), and my ever-faithful clock that displays time in NZ, GMT, and America Time.

It makes me cringe when I see any laptop with enough fudgeing system tray icons to fill half the taskbar, and none of them are being hidden.
by the way you can disable synaptics tray icon as well as realteks

Kaspersy, volume, network, battery.

@Zinga: Why don't you remove Networking and the action center. It's easy.

^ not noticed that till now - thanks for showing it existed xD
I hated those stuff on it so I looked and looked till I found a way to hide it. Turns out it was right there.

Avast Antivirus, Rainmeter, Alps Electric Touchpad (disables the touchpad when I plug a mouse in. Invaluable), Action Center, Battery Meter, Networking and Audio.

Thanks for the heads up on disabling icons. Getting rid of Action Center now.
