What is your take on Achievements? Do they make a game way more interesting or you mostly just play the game and let achievements happen on their own?
This is a specular discussion. Worthy of being discussed while I also take notes about their actual relevance.
I play the game and let achievements happen on their own.. I think this may have something to do with me not being much of a serious gamer. I just like to play occasionally.
There are definitely some trophy grabbers here though, hecaitomix who used to be here was definitely one.
I play a game, and let the trophies get themselves, like sensei.
Though on the other hand, if i find a game fun enough then I'll keep working specifically to get those trophies :D

How do you define "fun enough" in your terms? And like if the game captivates you enough, you try to unlock all achievements or only a select few?
Almost all of the trophies are too hard for me :(
I'm with everyone. I don't get to play that much anymore and I don't really care for trophies.
I had want all Vanquish trophies!!

Same, except just for 360. I was never really into the trophies. If a game truly, truly engages me, I will do all the achievements that I think look fun, once I've played the game enough, and then once those are done, I'll go through the harder achievements and pick them off in batches.
Recent Games I've done this in: Mass Effect 1 and 2, Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires, Starcraft 2. I have one achievement left in ME2, and three story-related in Starcraft 2, but I doubt I'll ever go for the achievements and unlockables the likes of "win 1000 league matches".
