As long as no one makes the same as say cwcheat I'm fine with this. Cwcheat RUINED all online psp games. The maker of it should be shot, not mortally though, in my opinion. At least no cheats in online play. No fair when people are invincible and can shoot 5 rockets and once and jump over houses.

They'd best not....what about those of us who use USB HDD's for normal things, like video and Music transfer....damn thing doesn't pick up have my shared folders or my Network drive so i have to....
what network drive do you use?
it looks legit and stuffs yeah, but too costly and not efficient right now as of the 4gb limit.
but it opened a whole new possibility :P i don't think I'll update my PS3 anytime soon

Just a cheap fairly generic NAS enclosure with a 1TB HDD in it. I appreciate if i shelled out for a decent one i'd get better results, but since all the PC's on my network pick it up with no issues whatsoever i see no reason to. a USB HDD still gives me acceptable R/W times when it comes to using it, and cosnidering the ammount of work i have to do involving backups and the likes, it more useful (on that note, is it an unwritten rule that you must not call the technician until your computer has beyond ground to a halt from the nasty viruses and work even kick into safe mode any more?)

I'll keep that in mind. Even "PS3 Compatible" drives seem to get their share of issues.

http://www.twitter.com/Mathieulh Wrote:psjailbreak's so called "Backup Manager" (which is pretty much the only thing available to download on their website) is a debug package including a regular fself compiled with the (massively privately leaked) 1.92 sdk, The package itself is generated with Sony's official sdk tool (make_package_npdrm revision 1203 probably from that very same sdk) that makes it illegal to share because I am quite sure psjailbreak staff doesn't have the appropriate license to be using the official Playstation 3 SDK and its tools. The binary itself seems to use the usual sce apis when it comes to the gui or copying files over. It does run on a debug console and displays a "nicely" done GUI that lets you "backup" your game to the external or usb hdd and "run" them later on. Needless to say the backups won't "run" as their "backup manager" is just a regular fself running with game privileges and doesn't make use of any exploits that I can think of. Needless to say that if their so called usb dongle is real (which I doubt) it does extensive use of leaked sony's software and keys/certificates.
i hope someone can make a custom firmwear out of this otherwise it's a fail(to me).I'm not paying $170 for something that will most likely get me put in jail.
I'm not paying $170 for that....
