Endless Paradigm

First I shall start with a story. I once had an HP IPAQ 110 and at first I didn't appreciate it, I figured mobile OS would be capable of so much more but then I really got into it. I used my psp more for anime and my far more powerful pocketPC for browsing the internet and instant messaging. Well after a while my pocketPC slowly started overheating and now it's at the point when I power it on the lights show up for a bit then it shuts down and dies (might be a hard drive problem :/ who knows.) Tried to fix it with no luck.

I'm looking for a hand held or a semi-small/mobile device. My bank accounts tell me I'm flat broke with a total of $41.60 USD. So I'm curious if anyone here who knows about mobile devices or has seen something can find it for a price this cheap. I'm also curious what I should be looking at in terms of power for a good mobile device. Or if anyone knows of any specific devices that are known for being useful. I'm look for cheap affordable power I guess T.T

also if anyone has an old pocketPC or something with decent specs they are willing to sell me, talk to me about it? :o

Well I want it to be small so enough so I can hid it in my room and use it at night and probably stash it under the covers if necessary. I'd say anywhere from like psp size to about a small book.

as far as features it just needs wifi and probably some chat application for msn yahoo and such
and then it needs to have a web browser.
I also want a touchscreen :D

with the exception of the touchscreen - a used PSP?

i used to have a palm zire72

but that's kinda off topic. as far as these pocket pc's go, theyre pretty cheap nowadays. you could wait a little while and buy that thing that pb posted, its pretty sick. but for $400, and considering what it is you want to do with it, id suggest an ipod touch.

now you got me wanting one you bastard. i guess i know where my next paycheck is going...

I've always wanted one but thought i'd never use it enough to warrant buying one
