Not really. PSP needs to be upclocked to 333MHz to decode SBR. But that's with a homebrew player, so you may get quicker speeds if it could utilize hardware decoding (probably about 222MHz, still faster than most MP3 players).

i vote wma but i believe mp3 may be slightly faster because it was one of the first audio formats for psp
but wma soley because mp3's files are too large all my wma's are really small 48kps
but they still keep good quality so the file size is smaller so my psp reads it faster
