its best if you use Notepad++

save after doing something, open file in image viewer and look

if you don't like just undo it in Notepad++ and resave

also a good idea in notepad bending never to actually type something into the code

normal letters = insta-corrupt

cause I typed loads of things into this image. Just take a look, hehe.

Notepad sometimes breaks newlines and stuffs, and doesn't seem to handle binary data too well.  Notepad++ or a hex editor should work well.

Hmmm. I hit 'Enter' a few times in n++ and nothing got beyond screwey. :p

Even if I just open the pic and save with no changes the picture becomes corrupt :/

Nevermind, Notepad2 seems to suck at this.

Notepad++ is a very light program, i would recommend it.
