A car that gets even 80 MPG? The Opel Eco Speedster got 113 MPG in a 24 hour reace with an average speed of 140 MPH and a top speed of 155 MPH.

That's just unreal and that was in 2005, so in 5 years the technology should be at a cost where I can buy mid sized Honda that gets 80 MPG for $40,000.
honda's in my oppinion suck. my dad bought the 2009 civic and its had like 15 recals already, and the back shocks got real bad real fast.
funnybutrandom and i were part of a team that made a car that did ~1,000 MPG
It's always more efficient to go faster (to a limit) and go without stop. That's 'why highway mpg is always more.
