i think you should just have the irshell 5.50, because the 5.50 version works on 5.0 and has sub-menu spport for apps, also, the "slim-only update, isn't just for psp slim, it just has an updated feature for slim, even thuough he also added support for learn in the ir port, added better mp4 support, etc
