17...  I did it late because I didn't want to talk to the licence people...

And yeah i had mine on the first row , also had luck.

That seriously was one of the items in the test over here for the non-pro license.
No need to take a test for a students permit, just get the permit for a few months then you can apply for a non pro once you turn 17.

You'd be surprised at the test I had to take:

Motorcycle test - The bike I was to test on was parked across the road (Like a 10 feet wide road, one way, no traffic, inside compounds). The instructor asked me to get it across to start the test. I walk over, swing a leg over, start the bike and take a simple-is-beyond-simple U-turn and stop in front of the instructor and that's it. Test done.

It was ridiculous..

I'm 20, and I still can't drive.

I had a permit, the it expired.

I can drive but I never got around to following it up.
