AT&T has you do this.
i reset my router and couldnt remember the password.
so i called up and the guy was like okay, what's your favorite restaurant?
i was like poo poo, and named all inds, and he was like nope..
i was like fudgekkkkkkkkk.
then he was like it starts wit a "b"
i was like, uhhhh...
BURGER KING!
that's not my favorite place -_-
but that's what i put in a rush to answer those stupid questions, thinking i'd never need to know the answers...
/ends rant... sorry.

I've seen a few sites do this, mostly more corporate or government related, from memory, and some email services (since you probably can't recover a password through email).
Ok, fair enough.
But that would never happen to me... but then you would just need to make your password hard to forget.
i forget my secret answers,. i def prefer sites just to mail my password,. wich is most commen anyway,..

I like when they give you the options of making your own question. I made mine:
What is your password?
What is your password?

If you can make your own questions, it's all good. If you must use a pre-defined question, then it's terrible.

yea that's the problem, i for get too. I have a safety question for the PSN, something like "what's your favorite animal?"
problem is i want the answer to be something not typical like a god or cat or something. So i put something stupid and completely forgot.
