Endless Paradigm

I wanted to see if you Can make Photoshop not go back to the previous layer when you step back in history?

I get frustrated by that too. I usually just click an area outside of the canvas space to make a step beforehand so it won't change layer.

That's what I've been doing lately too but that's still really annoying I think there must be another way or else I'll try to ask them to put it in the next Photoshop (that if they would even care!) because this really goes on my nerves!!

Yeah, either they need to add sub-history items for Layer Selection changes or they need to change how history works cause why else do they expect people to go back :/
