That, EVR Custom Pres normally... on my previous desktop I did but not sure on my current laptop... I think I may have changed to Overlay Mixer or Haali Renderer recently for some reason :/

Also use that one, EVR Custom Pres.

I would be using madVR... if not for my integrated graphics being shit, making madVR lag on HD stuff like 1080...

onna try madvr since my laptop has a 9200m gs in it

From CCCP FAQ page.
madVR is probably the best... IF you can get it working perfectly without lag (as it's also the most resource intensive).

madVR has rather slow initialisation, and flickers with certain events. For example, pausing will cause a flicker (and a bit of some noticeable acceleration of playback for about half a second), going into full screen will flicker and lag for a second. Alt-tabbing back to the player's window (paused video) gives me a black screen (need to hit play to see anything).
Could be I'm using an old version, but I find it rather annoying.
EVR Sync on main PC, Overlay on netbook.
IDK if best, meh, I can't really tell the difference anyway, especially since I fiddle with brightness/contrast settings of screens.

Don't think it happens to me.
New version was from like around a month ago?

To be honest, I can't tell the difference either.
Unless wee're talking about one of the VMR renderers, which screws up the PC/TV levels sometimes, and then I can easily tell the difference.

Doesn't seem to occur with v0.22.
Though don't really notice a difference, though I didn't look hard. But it means that I wouldn't notice a difference usually anyway.
Oh, and the settings dialog for madVR doesn't fit vertically on 1024x768 - developer should really make the window more square...
