Okay so I had problems with an anime episode so I decided to install cccp, spybot asked for a registry change upon installing so I allowed it.
That night, I left my computer on and in the morning I got a BSOD.
The same has happened again just now, what it says is...
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_EQUAL
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
have you installed a new device recently?
IMO that's indicative of a driver problem...
Otherwise make sure CCCP isn't conflicting and I wouldn't use TeaTimer, the fact it holds registry entries sometimes fudges up some installs.
Weird, I've never had trouble with TeaTimer. In fact, I know I have installed CCCP while TeaTimer was active. So I have little input in the matter :<
The first time it happened, suddenly all my drives were uninstalled otherwise I haven't installed any new devices recently.
On a related note, whenever I run a scan with spybot over night, my computer crashes :/
Okay, I uninstalled it it really hasn't done me any good since I've updated it.
lol mine does that all the time ^^
[edit]
wait... yours says driver_irql_less_or_not_equal... k maybe not... but mine dies alooot...
[edit]
i gave up on trying to figure it out... or more like I'm to lazy too...
each time i start my computer i will get one of the errors bellow
windows missing... i think....
[restart]
desktop + files are missing
[restart]
drivers are missing
[restart]
windows host processes stopped working
(this doesn't get affected immediately but after 2 hours or so... this is the one problem i hope for since all it does is kill the aero feature... or custom windows... ex: skype usses one)
audio services stopped working
(can't watch anime without sound D:)
[restart]
irql_less_or_not_equal bsod
(10 seconds after boot up or sometimes when i shutdown my computer)
[restart]
I'm pretty sure my system restore doesn't work either :/

let us know if it helped, aniki~
Don't think CCCP is even capable of crashing your computer.
From what I remember, CCCP just consists of FFDShow, about a few other DShow filters (VSFilter, ...), and a few media splitters (Haali, FLV, Gabest?).
On the other hand, Spybot can quite possibly screw stuff over.
With BSODs, if it's a driver problem, it'll generally be in the message of the BSOD. Look for something.sys - eg "atihdmi.sys" or whatever. Then you can try Googling it, or just identify what driver is causing the issue and try updating it / reinstalling it.

^ this
narrowing BSODs down to one single file can save your donkey
I've done that once, found the .dll mentioned in the BSOD at dlldump, replaced it and bang no more BSODs
Actually I remember I had this problem once before I did the said action in the first post.

Just got it again and no, nothing of that sort. This time though I was actually using my computer when it happened.
Just what I said, typical BSOD message and the Technical information.
