Time to explore the Necroguano mountains (That's not what its' called, but I'm calling it that anyway.)

The enemies here are stronger than anything wee've faced thus far. The Ice Clouds in particular are quite nasty.

By the way, like the Bolt Staff before it, it doesn't cast any lightning magic Dotdotdot

This thing is great. It basically damages enemies that attack you!

Marauders are the hardest enemy here. They get two turns and they have breath move that inflicts paralysis on the entire party Sadist

Rare enemy. Too bad all they give is a lot of gold and almost no exp >_>

That's the hardest Mini Medal to find in the game by the way. Having a Thief makes finding it a lot easier. Except that female thieves are the ugliest playable character in the game IMO.

Its been awhile since wee last seen these guys! That said though, they're the deadliest enemy here. They can cast Snowstorm which does 90 damage to the entire party. If all four cast it well... at least there's no such thing as a proper Game Over in a Dragon Quest game, right!?

Time to do the first dungeon in the World of Darkness! Are you all PUMPED!?

These things are very weak. But they can summon this nasty creature, shown on the next screenshot.

Two turns, has a very good chance of scoring a crit on you. These guys are annoying Nana-o

Here it is, the first dungeon! The Devil's Nail Mark... well that's what it was called in the Japanese version. I don't have a Thief so I can't check the English version's name >_>

These dungeon is completely anti-magic, which is pretty annoying. I should have bought some Heal Shields before coming here Sadist

All the enemies are weak except for the ones shown in this screenshot. Salamanders have a deadly breath attack that does 90(!!!) damage on the entire party. Hydras are pretty much identical to Yamata no Orochi.

Yup, Clerics in front. Truth be told, she's the bulkiest character in the party. Since this is an anti-magic dungeon she can lead the group since she can't do much without magic Whyowhy
